Sunday saw the 30th staging of the Waterside Half Marathon. The blustery conditions did little to put off the 1500 (plus) competitors from taking up the challenge. The race was won by Stephen Duncan from Omagh Harriers for the third time in a row in an impressive 67.56mins followed by North Belfast Harrier Steven Scullion. Unfortunately due to the number of competitors and the weather conditions we were unable to capture every runner.

It was not only Half Marathon runners competiting on Sunday, over 100 brave children also lined up to take part in the Family Fun Run giving us a taste of the running talent Derry has to look forward to in the future.
